with a gadrooned leather-lined top and a shaped scroll carved kneehole, flanked on each side by four graduated drawers, with rosette and strapwork carved knob handles and with panelled sides, on plinth bases, one drawer stamped HOWARD & SONS, BERNERS ST. -- 48in. (122cm.) wide
