Christ preaching ('La Petite Tombe') (B., Holl. 67; H. 256)
etching with drypoint and engraving, circa 1652, a very good 'white sleeve' impression, with burr to the robe of the man standing at left, and touches of burr to the left of Christ's robe, watermark Arms of Amsterdam (cf. Churchill 69), with narrow margins, an old pen and ink inscription in the margin lower right, a minor paper loss at the tip of the lower right corner, the tip of the upper left corner thin, a very short tear at the upper right sheet edge, otherwise generally in good condition
