etching with drypoint and engraving, circa 1639, second (final) state, a good, clear impression, with one or two traces of burr in the dark background, with a thread margin at the top, right and bottom, trimmed circa 4 mm. into the subject at the left, minor paper-thinning at the right sheet corners due to the removal of old tape, minor residual mounting at the lower sheet edge, otherwise generally in good condition
