etchings with aquatint, 1969, on Hodgkinson handmade wove paper, most with the watermark DH/PP, the four book editions, each volume with title, text, justification and the complete set of 39, of which 26 hors-text and thirteen in-text, signed in pencil on the justification and numbered 83/100 (there was also a portfolio edition of 100), the books in very good condition, each book with a separate suite of six loose etchings (different for each edition as issued), each etching signed in pencil on front, numbered 83/100 and inscribed with title and edition in pen and sepia ink on reverse, the full sheet as published, with margins, each plate with remains of old glue or tape at the extreme sheet edges, some with discoloration, some with small surface abrasions, framed, each book bound (as issued) in blue leather-covered boards with title and artist's name impressed in black on spine, with blue leather portfolio which once contained the suites, within blue leather-covered slipcase, the portfolios and the slipcases with a few scuffs, otherwise generally in good condition(book)
