No VAT will be charged on the hammer price, but VA… Read more THE PROPERTY OF "BILL" COPSON OF DERBYSHIRE AND ENGLAND, BY DIRECT DESCENT William Henry Copson (1908-1971) was born in Derbyshire and played 261 games for his county between 1932 and 1950. He toured with the M.C.C. to Australia in 1936/37, and played in three Test matches for England between 1939-1947. Remembered as a skilled right-arm fast medium bowler, he took 100 wickets in a season 3 times. Whilst playing for Derbyshire he took four wickets off four balls (1937). He later became a first-class umpire.
