Further details
The second print in this lot is after an original by Thomas Worth, an American genre painter based at Long Island, who produced many lithographs for Courrier and Ives and established a reputation for his illustrative work and racing prints.

The last print in this lot is by Arthur Hopkins, who was a regular contributor to The Graphic magazine (1874-1886).
