the standing bearded figure with head turned slightly to one side, wearing long robes, the edges decorated with a wide band of scrolling motifs, holding a tassle-tied double gourd in one hand, a gnarled staff held in the other with attached scroll -- 12½in. (31.7cm.) high, (chip to front of headdress, a few age cracks, splits to underside).
