Meiji Period
perched on a tree stump with issuing blossoming branches, the bird with finely detailed feathers, gilt claws, inset glass eyes, impressed signature seals to bird and to branchwork -- 8¼in. (21cm.) high., (blossoming side branch with repair to the stem and with two tips missing to the extremities, minor wear).
