painted and gilt to the centre with dignitaries and bijin kneeling around a bonsai pine and bamboo arrangement before a lacquer screen, within a roundel of a multitude of butterflies flying up towards numerous flowers issuing from the rim, all below a geometric border -- 8½in. (21.7cm.) diam, signed Yabu Meizan.
