A twelve-sided Imari dish
18th Century
painted in underglaze blue, gilt and various coloured enamels with a central band of stylised flowers and leafy tendrils within twelve radiating panels of scrolling foliage and scattered flower heads, underglaze blue sprays of prunus, bamboo and pine to the exterior -- 9½in. (24cm.) diam, (hairline crack and lacquer repair to rim).
