Depicting the story of Belisarius, the circular white-enamelled Arabic dial signed 'Revel', within a drum case surmounted by a military trophy, above a breakfront support, flanked to the left by a classical youth who recognises the elderly Belisarius using a helmet a begging bowl, the central plinth with a plaque depicting a further scene, and flanked by paterae, with fluted angles above bun feet
