An informal robe of midnight blue satin,
embroidered in silks in Peking Knot and satin stitch, the ground scattered with butterflies, peonies, prunus blossom and further auspicious fruit and flowers, trimmed with borders embroidered in 'three blues', the sleevebands of ivory satin worked in Peking Knot with figures in an ornamental garden, 19th century, (damages, buttons missing); and an informal robe of yellow satin damask woven with dragon roundels, embroidered in silks with flowers and fruit, circa 1900, (relined)
