the deep bowl with slight concave base, the flat border engraved FOR THE GRAYFRIARS' KIRK EDINBURGH 1733 -- 18½in. (47cm.) diameter; and a brass Victorian gothic style charger with central moulded ruby glass boss, surrounded by stylised foliage, the flat border with conforming ornament -- 15¾in. (40cm.) diameter (2)
