A mahogany, fruitwood and pine child's open armchair, English, early 19th century
with a bar back, turned arms, and solid seat on turned tapering legs joined by turned stretchers with a copper plaque to the seat inscribed When George IV Great Britain ruled,
And Pap in nursery puked and mewled,
He sat upon this little chair,
As later did his son and heir.
