An oak press cupboard, probably Gloucestershire, late 17th century
the upper section with moulded cornice and overhanging frieze carved with scrolling stylised foliate motifs and with drop pendants, above a central panel boldly carved with a stylised tree of life and flanked by panelled doors with scrolling whirl filled decoration centred with large rosettes, all between stiff leaf uprights and below a dentil frieze, the moulded shelf above a pair of large triple panel doors, the upper panels carved with foliate filled lunettes, the sides panelled, on stile feet -- 64in. (163cm.) wide, 72in. (183cm.) high, 25in. (64cm.) deep
