Comprising a paperknife, a pencil-sharpener, a pencil with a blue and a red end, a lead pencil, a fountain-pen and a signet, three with a ring-turned shaft surmounted by a pierced crown, two with a ring-turned shaft, the paperknife with a carved handle, in a pink rusetted silk-lined black presentation box, with a paper label to the underside inscribed 5304

Provenance
By repute, Herman Gustav Krohn (ca. 1828-1907) received this set as a result of his good work as an administrator in the castle of Schwerin. The crowns on top of the pencils are a sign for the house of the Count of Schwerin. Thence by descent to the present owner.
