The rectangular swing-plate between spirally-turned and foliate- panelled uprights, with a serpentine cresting centred by the Prince of Wales feathers, above a serpentine-fronted base with two drawers flanking a mount, with spirally-turned angles and ormolu paw feet, inscribed in chalk 'EB' and inscribed in ink '18 15 Mr J. E.' and 'Miles', later handles, the drawer fronts re-veneered
