The rectangular moulded case with bevelled glass front panel and heavy white marble back, with three brass screws securing the spun brass bezel to the white painted metal Roman dial (repainted), with subsidiary seconds ring below XII and signed L. Leroy & Cie. 7, B.d de la Madeleine, Paris, with recessed subsidiary silvered dial at VI for pin ring to programme pre-set times, blued steel hands, the movement with spheroidal bob pendulum with horse-shoe shaped magnet
