A Regency ebonised and gilt-brass mounted quarter-chiming bracket clock with moonphase

The case with bell top pediment surmounted by a brass pineapple finial and with pierced brass mock frets to all sides, with flaming urn finials to each corner, with brass-lined breakarch front door, brass handles to the sides above pierced brass fish scale sound frets, on stepped base raised on brass bracket feet, the gilt-brass dial signed on a silvered plaque in the arch THOMAS PACE LONDON above a painted rolling moon, with replaced (?) female mask and foliate spandrels and later beaded bezel to the replaced silvered chapter disc with fleur-de-lys half hour markers and dot minute track, with small circular date aperture, openwork blued steel hands, the six pillar triple chain fusee movement with later anchor escapement, the altered quarter train now chiming on eight nested bells and with hour strike on a further bell, trip repeat, the backplate profusely engraved with foliate scrolls around an oval reserve engraved with an urn, with later pendulum holdfast, with engraved movement securing brackets and conforming decoration to the stand for the quarter train fly; movement and dial with alterations
