The oval case with white enamel Roman and Arabic dial, blued steel moon hands, the twin barrel movement with silvered platform to the bimetallic balance with lever escapement, strike/repeat on gong to the backplate with number 2395, with retail signature J.W. Benson to the upper inside of the rear door, lacking base plate -- 5½in. (14cm.) high to hilt of handle; with original leather travel case
