The foliate marquetry inlaid case with stepped top, raised on four line inlaid columns with foliate capitals, with stepped base raised on bun feet, with elaborately cast bezel to the chapter ring with Arabic chapters and signed Brier à Domfront, blued steel openwork hands, the twin barrel movement with gridiron pendulum, the bob cast with shells and a bearded mask, with countwheel strike on bell -- 18¾in.
