Note: Kelantan reverted to British control on 9th. September 1945. There was a free postage period in Malaya until the arrival of BMA stamps which were brought into use on 19th. October 1945. Penang was the earliest to resume postal service on 26th. September 1945 and Kelantan on 5th. October.
