Cast after a model by Albert Ernest Carrier de Belleuse, as a classically draped maiden, her hair with chignon and plaits, the fitment (lacking) previously supported in her raised right hand, the base inscribed CARRIER-BELLEUSE, E.CORNU. PARIS. -- 27in. (68.5cm.) high
