A Staffordshire pearlware part dessert-service
Circa 1800, probably Spode, some plates impressed W
Printed in blue with a stylised chinoiserie pattern of lotus flowers, other flowerheads and scolling foliage, reserved against an applied dark-red gound with vermicular, zig-zag and striped decoration, beneath brown-line rims, comprising:
A shaped oval centre-dish (foot repaired)
Two pierced two-handled baskets and pierced stands
Four square dishes (two repaired)
Nine plates
(some overall rubbing and flaking to brown enamel rims)
