A Chelsea stand for a finger-bowl
Circa 1752
The centre painted in the manner of Jefferyes Hammet O'Neale with two tigers in a wooded landscape, with birds in flight above and blue mountains in the distance, brown rocks in the foreground, within a purple and red double circle cartouche, the border with three specimen flowers within a shaped brown-line rim (two minute glaze blemishes to front surface at five and seven o'clock towards the edge of the cartouche)
