A Meissen hausmalerei flared two-handled beaker
Circa 1725, the decoration slightly later
Decorated at Augsburg in the Auffenwerth workshop with Oriental figures, one taking tea beside a table before a boiling kettle and another promenading with a fan and sceptre on a fenced terrace, both among flowering shrubs within elaborate gilt and iron-red scroll cartouches, the interior richly gilt (small restored rim chip, some rubbing to gilt rims and handle)
