Circa 1770, blue shield mark and Pressnummer 35, signed E v J
Of squat globular form with faceted foliate spout and scroll handle enriched in gilding, painted with a figure standing before a painted banner and holding a scroll inscribed Neue Aufleg bei E.v J in a landscape vignette, the reverse with two figures at discussion by luggage and a barrel in a similar vignette and with scattered flower-sprays beneath a gilt strapwork and line border, the domed cover with pear finial and further flower-sprays
