A Siena plate
Circa 1745, probably Ferdinando Maria Campani
Painted with a youth holding a palm frond and seated on a rock surrounded by the Three Fates, Clotho, Lachesis and Atropos before buildings, trees and distant mountains, within a manganese line and ochre rim (very slight flaking to rim)
9¾ in. (24.7 cm.) diam.
Provenance
Schloß Thallwitz (reverse with red inventory number Th.26.)
