A Vincennes bleu celeste baluster milk-jug and cover
1753, blue interlaced L's enclosing date-letter A, painter's mark of Taillandier, incised 3
The pinched lip and loop handle gilt with lozenge and scroll ornament, the body with two loose bouquets enclosed within richly gilt palm fronds with trailing flowers between gilt line and dentil rims, the domed cover with similar palm fronds and flowers and with white carnation finial (minute chip to lip of cover, small chip to flange of cover and some very minor wear to gilding of top rim and lip)
