A Meissen baluster quatrefoil yellow-ground coffee-pot and cover
Circa 1745, blue crossed swords mark
With scrolling ear-shaped handle, with alternating white and yellow-ground panels painted with bouquets of Holzschnitt Blumen divided by gilt scale ornament and below a band of gilt interlocking scrolling foliage, the shallow-domed cover similarly decorated about a gilt quatrefoil knop finial, gilt band borders (coffee-pot and cover with a minute rim chip, spout and rim with minute wear to gilding)
