both carved wearing elaborate robes and headdress, standing on octagonal plinth bases -- 4 5/8in. (11.7cm.) max. high; two ivory figures of European officials, wearing typical clothes and hats, each formerly holding a sword, on oval shaped bases -- 5in. (12.6cm.) max. high; two Cantonese ivory card cases -- 4¼in. (10.8cm.) max. high; and two Indian ivory figures, the first with mother and child on a shaped base, the other of a semi-nude woman on an oval base -- 4 3/8in. (11.1cm.) max. high. (8)
