A pair of Japanese cloisonne tripod koros and covers
19th Century
decorated in various coloured enamels with vertical black and speckled gold ground panels containing butterflies and flowers, between bands of flower motifs, the covers with lotus finials -- 3¾in. (9.5cm.) high; a cloisonne vase of tapering shape, decorated in various colours with a bird in flight above chrysanthemum and prunus branches, on a red and fading to green ground -- 7 1/8in. (18.2cm.) high; a cloisonne ovoid shape vase, decorated in blue and white enamels with flowers and reeds -- 9 5/8in. (24.4cm.) high; and a ginbari cloisonne ovoid shape vase, decorated in various coloured enamels with flower blooms, on a turquoise fading to white ground, stamped factory mark to base -- 5 7/8in. (14.9cm.) high, (minor bruising to second piece).
