with three sliding drawers to the front and metal handles, decorated in red, black and gold lacquer in hiramakie and takamakie with crane in flight and on a rocky riverbank before foaming waves, the sides with pavilions and shrines set on tree-strewn riverbanks with sailing boats in the distance, the interiors in nashiji -- 12¾in. x 8¾in. (32.5cms x 22.2cms).
