of oblong octagonal shape, decorated in mother-of-pearl with figures in a garden scene to the cover, the sides with flowers and foliage, mounted with c-scroll handles and a bat shaped escutcheon -- 14¾in. (37.5cm.) wide, (chips, restoration and losses to inlay).
