With gilt-finished lever movement, 76 jewels, three armed one minute tourbillon with mono-metallic balance, repeating on two gongs, all revealed under a sapphire crystal, the silvered matt dial with Roman numerals, outer calibrated ring for 60 seconds, four subsidiary dials indicating constant seconds combined with the day, 30 minute register combined with the phases of the moon, 12 hour register combined with the months and date, window for the year, the circular case with two rectangular chronograph buttons and slide repeat mechanism in the band, large downturned lugs, onynx set crown, back secured by six screws, together with an 18 carat gold IWC buckle, accompanied with an IWC presenation box and papers, case, dial and movement signed. 42 mm. diam.

This is the most complicated wristwatch ever produced by International Watch Company. A similar model, no. 17/125 was sold in Christie's London, 2nd April, 1996, lot 141 for 73,000 sterling.
