Lot Essay

These are the survivors of only 30 pieces produced by Valcambi before the obverse lettering was changed from the error italic script. A large proportion of the errors were sent to the Central Bank of the Solomon Islands for their archives, or distributed worldwide as initial trade samples for photography purposes. Sold with Valcambi certificate.
