With signed browned twist sighted barrels, scroll engraved case-hardened patent breeches each with platinum line and pierced platinum plug (one with some pitting around the nipple), tangs en suite each incorporating the back-sight, signed detented locks en suite each with safety-catch (one hammer spur repaired), figured walnut three-quarter stocks, chequered butts, scroll engraved blued iron mounts, silver escutcheons and barrel-bolt escutcheons, stirrup ramrods, and much original finish: in original lined and fitted mahogany case with some accessories, the lid with trade label, the exterior with shaped brass escutcheon, Birmingham proof marks
