With tapering barrel with engraved ornament on the rear of the breech and along the sighting flat and retained by a parcel-gilt barrel band and muzzle sleeve each decorated with flowers and scrollwork in relief, the latter incorporating a false ramrod, rounded lock with garbled inscription, walnut full stock profusely inlaid with pierced and engraved silver panels, and cast and chased parcel-gilt silver mounts struck with hallmarks and decorated in relief with flowers, foliage, and trophies of arms, including pierced side-plate (some surface rust, trigger-guard repaired)
