BETTE DAVIS COLLECTION OF CHRISTMAS ITEMS
A group of Christmas-related items owned by Bette Davis consisting of five Christmas-themed dishtowels, a small cocktail cloth napkin, a custom-made ornament painted with the initials B.D., a plastic ornament in the 'snow-globe' style, a candle etched with BD 86 and a Christmas card signed in black felt-tip ink by the star reading Sorry this is so late always my love Bette Davis. Also included is a plastic Christmas wreath that David Hartman, host of "Good Morning America," sent to Miss Davis after her appearance on the show in 1987 along with its original transmittal box displaying an address label reading Miss Betty Davis [sic]. Three of the above items (two ornaments and a candle) were pieces Miss Davis had custom-made to add to Christmas gifts for friends.
