DICK VAN DYKE VEST FROM "CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG"

A brown tweed vest with four frontal pockets worn by Dick Van Dyke as he portrayed the lax Caractacus Potts in the beloved children's classic. Purposely distressed with staining throughout and missing buttons, this piece has a tailor's label reading M. Berman Ltd. 18 Irving St. Leicester Sq., W.C.2 Dick Van Dyke and is seen when Van Dyke sings 'I Have You Two' to his ragamuffin children, Jemima and Jeremy, as well as in later scenes. Included is a black and white publicity still of Van Dyke wearing the vest.
