GEORGE CUKOR CHRISTMAS CARDS TO JACK GREENWOOD
A group of eleven Christmas cards that Academy Award-winning director George Cukor sent to his longtime colleague, Jack Greenwood. Dating from the early 1950s, all these pieces were custom-made in interesting shapes, sizes and designs and all feature images of Cukor's beloved dogs; Sasha, a standard black poodle, and Salo and Amanda, dachshunds. Also included are two postcards Cukor sent to Greenwood in the 1940s and a number of newspaper clippings related to the director.
