A Belper & Denby stoneware cordial flask
moulded with Lord Brougham to commemorate the second Magna Carta, his head forming the neck of the flask, modelled with his hands held in front of him holding a scroll impressed THE SECOND/MAGNA CHARTA, the upper part of the flask enriched in a brown glaze, the lower part impressed BROUGHAMS/REFORM/CORDIAL, impressed mark to the reverse, circa 1832 -- 18cm. high; and a Joseph Thompson brown-glazed pottery cordial flask similar -- 16.5cm. high (2)
