A Cantagalli gold lustre dish
moulded and painted in blue with a stylised bird in flight, on a ground lustred with concentric bands of leaves, the underside with bands of leaves and flowerheads, monogramed, blue cockerel mark, circa 1890 (minor cracks and flakes to the rim) -- 43.5cm. diam.
