A simple oxidised-brass garden armillary sundial, with central rod gnomon and unengraved polar and horizon rings and stamped meridian, the interior of the horizon with inlaid brass numbers 5-12, 1-7 and ten holes opposite, mounted on a (later) brass support with screw clamp to hold the meridian in place or allow it to be adjusted, on turned rosso lanquedoc base -- 18¼in. (46.3cm.)
