The hull of the model is wood, built up and hollowed with grey painted topsides and a green bottom. The deck is basswood veneer which has had the deck planking scored and the seams darkened. The superstructures and primary deck fixtures are also from wood and painted grey except where a deck and then it is painted brown. The model is fitted with numerous details including the 12-12" primary cannons, 18-5" secondary cannons, anti aircraft guns, forward crane with hook, anchors and anchor chain, bollards, windlass, chocks, ventilators, life lines, ladders, searchlights, gangways, life boats on davits, boats and gigs on cradles, masts with crows nests, propellers, and numerous other details. Mounted on two pedestals with a silver finish on a mahogany base with a plexiglass cover.
