Lot Essay

Grey Maynard was the seventh son of Banaster, 3rd Lord Maynard and Lady Elizabeth Grey, only daughter of Henry, 10th Earl of Kent. On the death of his brother Henry, 4th Lord Maynard on December 7, 1742, he succeeded to the title, but lived only another two years before his own death on April 27th, 1745.
