A RARE LATE MING IRON-RED AND UNDERGLAZE BLUE 'DRAGON' DISH
ENCIRCLED WANLI SIX-CHARACTER MARK AND OF THE PERIOD


The centre of the interior painted with a scaly five-clawed horned ascending dragon amid fire scrolls and above cresting waves, the exterior with a further four dragons divided by flaming pearls, all between double line borders (two hairlines)--6 1/8in. (15.4cm.) diam.
