The body of deep rounded form angled at the shoulder and supported on three cabriole legs issuing from animal masks, carved around the sides in low relief with taotie masks, divided by mythical animal mask handles suspending loose rings, all below the square-cut rim, the cover similarly carved with a taotie band and surmounted by a Buddhist lion carved in the round with head turned to one side, the thick stone of good green colour with areas of attractive emerald green--8 5/8in.
