The large, well-hollowed peach centred on top by an aperture of conforming outline fitted with a cover carved in high relief with two cranes and a leafy, gnarled branch to match that carved around the sides of the vessel, where two more cranes stand on the branch and a third is in flight, the softly polished stone with some pale brown and opaque white mottling--7 in.
