18TH/19TH CENTURY
One decorated with eight magnificent cranes flying above or gathered below a peach tree resplendent with fruit and other long-tailed birds flying or standing amongst peony and rockwork, the other decorated with two majestic phoenixes holding lingzhi in their beaks standing on rockwork below a flowering tree, surrounded by numerous birds including parakeets, herons, swallows, peacocks and ducks in a simple landscape, the inlay of various woods, polychrome bone and mother-of-pearl (some restoration)--64½in. high x 119in. wide (164cm. x 303cm.)
